Laura Khouri
Laura Khouri is President and Chief Operating Officer of WNPM, which currently manages nearly 23,000 apartments located throughout Southern California and Nevada. Ms. Khouri is responsible for the operations of the property management division and provides strategic direction to the company relative to its portfolio of multifamily assets.
Ms. Khouri joined WNG in 1985. Prior to assuming the position of President and COO, she held numerous leadership positions within WNG, most recently as the President of the Multifamily Ancillary Group (MAG). Ms. Khouri also held the position of Senior Vice President, in which she was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Training and Development, Risk Management, Purchasing, Office Administration, and Investor Relations. Additional positions also held during her 39-year tenure with Western National include Vice President, Human Resources, and Vice President, Operations. Ms. Khouri is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California and Utah, was certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources "SPHR" and was previously a licensed Insurance Agent/Broker in six states. Ms. Khouri is a member of the Executive Committee, which governs WNG, and is also a sitting member of the WNG Investment Committee.
Philanthropically, Ms. Khouri is an Advisory Board Member to the UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute and an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Laura's House, a non-profit organization assisting men, women, and children of domestic violence. She is also a member of the Alexis De Tocqueville Society for United Way France, United Way Romania, and United Way Spain. Ms. Khouri was a previous Board Member of the California Apartment Association and served two terms as its President of the Board of Directors. She also served as a Trustee and Board Member of Chapman University and President of the Board of Directors for the Prentice School, a non-profit school for dyslexic children.
Ms. Khouri is a sought-after industry Keynote Speaker, conference Panel Moderator and Participant, and has authored numerous industry articles. She was honored as one of GlobeSt.'s 2024 Women of Influence, one of CRE's Best Bosses for 2024, as well as her division of WNG, Western National Property Management, was named one of CRE's Best Places to Work in 2024.
